Coordinators Meeting in Sofia

On 10th November 2008 Childhood without Abuse Project coordinators meeting took place in Sofia, Bulgaria. Annual coordinators meetings serve as an opportunity to share information about the project implementation in each country, positive outcomes as well as difficulties. This year coordinators presented activities conducted on the topic of interdisciplinary assistance and their strategies for the social campaign "See it, Hear it, Say it", which is being adapted into national languages of the project countries. Maria Keller-Hamela introduced plans for the next year, putting emphasis on the theme of institutional abuse, and summarized the progress achieved after four years of the project implementation.
The meeting hosted Tanya Kovacheva from the OAK Foundation and Kevin Browne, OAK External Evaluator, who both significantly contributed to the discussions.
After the meeting, coordinators participated in the international seminar "Child witness in criminal proceedings - multidisciplinary approach", organized by Social Activities and Practices Institute.
