I am going to court promoted in Macedonia

On 2nd July 2008, promotion of the book "I am going to court" took place in Skopje, Macedonia. This event, launched by the First Children's Embassy in the World - Megjashi, Partner Organization in the Childhood without Abuse Project, gathered guests from government institutions and civil society sector.

It was led by Mr. Dragi Zmijanac, Ms. Margarita Caca Nikolovska - former Judge at the

European Court of Human Rights, and Ms. Vasilka Bozinovska - Judge for Minors at the Court of First Instance in Skopje. The promotion received wide media coverage.


"I am going to court" was adopted to Macedonian on the basis of Polish version of the book, written by Maria Keller-Hamela from the Nobody's Children Foundation. Its aim is to help children in getting ready for testifying in court. In Macedonia, the book is recommended by the Ministry of Justice, Association of Judges of Macedonia and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.


In the frame of the Childhood without Abuse Project financed by the OAK Foundation, I am going to court was adopted and printed in each participating country.
