Paedophiles are castrated in Denmark

The European legislature have no mercy on paedophiles. The most severe punishments are passed, most common being life imprisonment. In Norway the paedophiles are having a microchip-locators implanted, whereas in Denmark chemical castration is done to paedophiles recidivists.


Support for victims of sexual abuse in Macedonia

On 26th September, CIRa (Institutional Development Centre) and First Children's Embassy in the World - Megjashi, launched a campaign for establishment of Fund for Support of Children and Youth Victims of Sexual Abuse.

Nova Makedonija explains why police attempts to keep children away from begging in the streets fail.

According to First Children's Embassy in the World - Megjashi, picking children from the streets and placing them in day care centers, which they leave after a few hours, is not a sustainable solution. Long term solutions are needed, like engaging children in educational process and providing social apartments and employment for their family members.



“Children’s Rights on the Internet - Safe and Protected” – seminar in Macedonia

On May 6th - 8th 2008, a seminar in the frame of the "Protection and safety of children and their rights on the Internet" project was held in Ohrid, Macedonia.

The project, financed by the European Union, is implemented by the Foundation Metamorphosis in cooperation with the First Children's Embassy in the World - Megjashi.
