Childhood without Violence - what can children do for themselves

These photos were taken at the exhibition in one of the Macedonian schools and present drawings and paintings made by children in the frames of the campaign “Childhood without violence-what can children do for themselves". Those which were selected as the best ones, would be replicated in a small size and distributed as postcards.

 



Local supervisions in Macedonia

The local supervisions in Macedonia were based on the case presentations.



Supervision by an international expert in Macedonia

The supervision by international expert was conducted on the 1st of December 2006 by prof. dr. Veronika Ispanovic, child psychiatrist and psychotherapist, professor at the university of Belgrade and leading internationally recognized professional in this field in Serbia. On the Conference in York she was invited lecturer at the Developing Country Forum, the leader of working group working on designing protocols for children victims of abuse.



Trainings organized in Macedonia in 2006

During 2006 there were two trainings conducted in Macedonia. The main topics of both of the trainings were:
• Diagnostic procedures of CAN: Family Assessment and Assessment of the Child
• Principles and goals of treatment
• Working with the child on the issue of trauma and abuse
• Working with parents and caregivers
